The Farm’s presence at the Farmer’s Market is significant because this is one key component of trying to create a self-sustaining model for serving our community.
Through selling a small portion of the harvest, we hope to
- Tell our Story
- Offset some of the operating costs (i.e. seeds, tools, water, etc.) at The Farm by selling a small portion of the harvest each week
- Be a visible member of the local agricultural community
- Support redevelopment efforts of downtown areas
Serving at the Farmer’s Market
The Farmer’s Market is an exciting environment that truly connects our communities together within a space that is designed for rest & relationships. Serving at the Cobblestone Project Farmer’s Market booth is a great opportunity to serve with your family or small group in a capacity that includes story telling, relationship and representing the Farm’s purpose for caring for our community.

What to Expect
The Farmer’s Market starts early with set-up beginning approx. 6:45 a. A representative from Cobblestone Project will meet you at the Farmer’s Market, help with booth set-up, explain the day’s harvest and answer any questions you may have. You can expect that someone from the Cobblestone Project will be with at the Farmer’s Market booth unless other arrangements have been made.
A typical Farmer’s Market lasts until 12:30 pm and a Cobblestone Project representative will meet you there to assist with tear down.
Please be aware that the Farmer’s Market inclement weather policy is very closely tied to The Farm’s. However, there may be times when one is canceled and the other is in operations. If you are serving at the Farmer’s Market, please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with the inclement weather policy.
